OBITUARY
October 7, 1946 – January 2, 2026
Warren J. Roberts, 79, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 2, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bennington, VT, on October 7, 1946, he was the son of the late Rev. Edward and Jean Roberts of Bernardston, MA. Warren attended school in Massachusetts and graduated from Greenfield High School.
He is survived by his four sons, their spouses and children: Jeffrey Roberts (Alison), Kevin Roberts (Katherine), Michael Roberts (Melissa), and Steven Roberts; and his beloved Joyce Roberts. Warren was a proud grandfather to Aprylle, Hunter, Logann, Greyson, Madison, Jacob, and Owen. He is also survived by siblings Alan Roberts (Elaine), David Roberts (Maureen), Sally Zimmerman (Paul), Joyce Kamins (Don), and Janet Hensel (Tom, deceased). He was predeceased by Penny and Sandy Urgiel.
Warren worked for Channing Bete Co., Universal Instruments (Vestal, NY), Godiva Chocolate (Exeter, PA), and Zausner Foods (New Holland, PA), where he retired. He also enjoyed working as a chauffeur for Celebrity Limousine and Rhodes Transportation.
A dedicated community member, Warren served as President of the Exeter School Board for many years, was a member and trusted board member of the Pottstown Elks and managed a men’s softball league. He loved bowling, the Red Sox and the New England Patriots, University of Delaware football games, card tournaments, trips to the beach, and Neil Diamond’s music. Warren ran the Charity Ball at the Elks Club for many years and devoted time to coaching youth sports from T-ball through high school athletics. He will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to family, education, and community. Warren will be missed immensely by all who knew and loved him. We love you dad.
