Marilyn M. Bingham

OBITUARY

Marilyn M. Bingham, 93, of Allentown, passed away Friday, January 16, 2026, at EverTrue Luther Crest, South Whitehall Twp. She was the wife of Franklin P. Bingham, with whom she shared 67 years of marriage last August. Born in Chicora, Butler, County, PA, she was the daughter of the late James F. and Florence N. (Kaylor) McKinnis, stepdaughter of the late Mary Reese McKinnis. A graduate of Butler Business College. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Allentown for 64 years, where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years and was the financial secretary in the 1980’s and 90s, retiring in 1997. She got great enjoyment gardening, sewing, needlepoint and was an excellent baker. She was an avid volunteer at the church and delivered Meals on Wheels for many years.

Survivors: Husband Franklin P. of Allentown Pa.; son James F. and his wife Susan of Yardley Pa.; daughter Debra S., wife of Anthony Mastropieri of Cetronia Pa.; sister Gladys M., wife of the late Paul Rettig, of Butler Pa.; grandchildren Francis J. Bingham, Amanda S. Bingham and Leila A. Mastropieri; great granddaughters Freyja Bingham and Aurelia Bingham and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her older sister Nellie, brother J. Gordon and 4 step siblings.

Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
