A snow squall was located along a line, from Grand Island to near Erie, Pa., and moving east at 25 mph.
BUFFALO, N.Y. — The National Weather Service issued a Snow Squall Warning until 11:45 p.m. Wednesday for parts of Western New York.
Impacted areas include Wyoming County, Cattaraugus County, southeastern Erie County, southern Chautauqua County, northwestern Allegany County, and eastern Genesee County.

The alert was issued when a snow squall was earlier  located along a line, from Grand Island to near Erie, Pa., and moving east at 25 mph.
“Intense bursts of heavy snow” can be expected, according to the NWS. “Gusty winds leading to blowing snow and visibility rapidly falling to less than one-quarter mile. Wind gusts up to 20 mph.”
