With assistance of the Erie County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force and the Erie Police SWAT team the Millcreek Police Special Investigations Unit executed a search warrant on Jan. 23.
The search had been conducted in the 800 block of Walnut Street. The drug investigation has been a long-term case, and the search warrant had been obtained as a result. When conducting the search investigators found and seized multiple controlled substances.
The substances included approximately one pound of crystal methamphetamine, over an ounce of suspected fentanyl, and over an ounce of suspected psilocybin mushrooms. Other small amounts of controlled substances were also found at the residence.
Michael Schuler had been arrested at the residence and has since been arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Rush with charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.
Schuler has been committed to the Erie County Prison on 10% of a $250,000 secured bond.
Investigators also seized small amounts of other suspected controlled substances. The accused, Michael A. SCHULER, was arrested at the residence and arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Rush on charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence. He was committed to the Erie County Prison on 10% of a $250,000 secured bond.
