Richard Veil

August 3, 1968 – October 13, 2025

Richard “Rick” J. Veil, age 57, of Wexford, passed suddenly on Monday, October 13, 2025.

Beloved life partner of Lesley Foulk. Loving brother of Scott (Jen) Veil. Cherished uncle of Shelby, Joe, and Jake Veil. Also survived by Lesley’s children Allyson (Jose) Dore, Cassidy (Kyle) Kretz, Holton (fiancé Shauna) Foulk, and AJ Foulk, and our grand children Leila, Paisley, Sophia, Maddox, and Kennedy, who lovingly knew him as “Opa.”, and many cousins. Preceded in death by his beloved mother Margaret (Aird) Veil and father James Veil.

Rick was a true nature lover and master fisherman, finding peace and joy on the water – from the Chesapeake Bay to the Gulf of America. He will be remembered by all who knew him for his warm smile, friendliness, kindness, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others. His deep love for family and the simple joys of life made him someone people were naturally drawn to.

He shared many happy years with Lesley, his greatest love, finding joy in family gatherings, time with their grandbabies, and their special place on Anna Maria Island, where memories will forever live on.

Rick was a dedicated employee of Finzer Roller (formerly known as RotaDyne) for many years, where he took great pride in his career and was recognized as one of their top salesmen. His commitment, extensive knowledge, and hard work ethic left a lasting impression on all who worked with him.

Rick’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. His laughter, kindness, and love of the outdoors will forever remind his family and friends of the beautiful life he lived.

A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, October 25th, a visitation from 10a.m. – 11am with a memorial service at 11am with lunch to follow at Grace Community Church, 9160 Marshall Rd., Cranberry Twp., PA 16066.
