ERIE COUNTY, OHIO, Ohio — Heavy snow is impacting Northeast Ohio as a Winter Storm Warning continues throughout the entire region — and roads are snow-covered and slick, which is why a few counties have issued a snow emergency.

In a Facebook post Sunday afternoon, the Ohio Department of Transportation noted the following: “ODOT does not issue snow emergency levels. Your local sheriff’s office holds jurisdiction over issuing them. Stay informed about the status in your county on social media or on the news. Adhere to the levels for your safety.”
