(WHTM) – Casinos across Central Pennsylvania are either closed or limiting operations on Sunday due to the snowstorm that could drop a foot of snow on the region.
Parx Casino Shippensburg says they will be closed on Sunday “for the safety of our team members and guests.” Hundreds in the Shippensburg area are without power on Sunday, according to FirstEnergy.

York Hollywood Casino says they are open; however, table games are closed on Sunday. The PENN Play Center and sportsbook are closed on Sunday as well, and there are modified food/beverage options.
Adjustments may be made on Sunday and/or Monday due to conditions.
“Additional updates will be shared as conditions are evaluated. Guests are encouraged to check back frequently for the most up-to-date information,” says the casino’s website. “We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you back once conditions improve.
Penn National Race Course Hollywood Casino says the sportsbook will only operate the kiosks on Sunday and Monday, and the power room will be closed on Sunday and Monday.
Table games are scheduled to open at 4 p.m. on Sunday and will reopen on Monday at 12 p.m.
Other attractions across the region, including Hershey’s Chocolate World and the Capital City Mall, are also closed due to winter weather on Sunday.
