SCRANTON, LACKWANNA CO. (WOLF) — The County of Lackawanna Transit System (COLTS) will be closed on Monday, January 26.

The move is designed to minimize driver and passenger safety risks and to avoid expected treacherous road conditions, according to Keri Savage, Esq., COLTS director of Business Communications & Development.

“Weather will hamper COLTS’ normal fixed route and van service operations as well as put drivers and passengers at increased risk,” noted Savage. “We’ll close Monday and assess driving conditions throughout the day to determine Tuesday’s schedule,” she added.

COLTS will update service plans as conditions warrant throughout Monday and Tuesday and post information on its website and digital media platforms, she added.
