SCRANTON, LACKWANNA CO. (WOLF) — The City of Scranton announced that refuse and recycling collection will be suspended on Monday, Jan. 26, as crews focus on clearing snow-covered roadways.
The Department of Public Works will use the additional time to improve road conditions across the area. As a result, all scheduled trash and recycling pickups will be pushed back by one day for the remainder of the week.
Residents are thanked for their patience and are encouraged to remain cautious as winter weather cleanup continues.
