The boys and girls soccer regular seasons ended Monday night, as Wyoming Area captured the Wyoming Valley Conference Division II girls championship with a 4-2 victory over Lake-Lehman and Western Wayne secured the outright Lackawanna League Division II girls title with an 11-0 win over Mountain View.

Now teams set their sights on the postseason, as the District 2 boys quarterfinals being Wednesday and the girls quarterfinals start Thursday.

Wyoming Valley West earned the top seed and a quarterfinal bye in the District 2-4 Class 4A boys subregional tournament. No. 4 Williamsport hosts No. 5 Scranton on Wednesday at 5 p.m. with the winner traveling to Wyoming Valley West on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. for the semifinals.

On Wednesday, No. 3 Delaware Valley hosts No. 6 Hazleton Area at 5 p.m., and No. 2 Wilkes-Barre Area hosts No. 7 West Scranton at 6:30 p.m. The winners face off in Friday’s semifinals, with the final scheduled for Tuesday.

In Class 3A boys, Lackawanna League Division I champion Abington Heights earned the top seed and will host No. 8 Honesdale on Friday at 7 p.m. No. 2 North Pocono will host No. 7 Crestwood on Friday at 6 p.m.

On Thursday, Wyoming Valley Conference Division I champion No. 3 Dallas hosts No. 6 Valley View at 6:30 p.m., while No. 4 Wallenpaupack hosts No. 5 Pittston Area at 6 p.m.

Semifinals are Tuesday, with the final Oct. 30.

In Class 2A boys, WVC Division II champion Lake-Lehman earned the top seed and will host the winner of Tuesday’s first-round game between No. 8 Scranton Prep and No. 9 Montrose on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.

No. 3 Tunkhannock will host No. 6 Mid Valley on Thursday at 4 p.m., Lackawanna League Division III champ No. 2 Riverside will host No. 7 Hanover Area on Thursday at 4 p.m. and No. 4 Dunmore will host No. 5 Western Wayne on Saturday at 11 a.m.

Semifinals are Tuesday, with the final Oct. 30.

In Class 1A boys, Lackawanna League Division II champ Mountain View secured the top seed and will host No. 8 Gregory the Great on Friday at 4:15 p.m.

No. 2 Wyoming Seminary will host No. 7 Elk Lake on Thursday at 6:15 p.m., No. 3 Holy Cross will host No. 6 Blue Ridge on Friday at 4:15 p.m. and No. 4 Holy Redeemer will host No. 5 Old Forge on Friday at 3:30 p.m.

Semifinals are Tuesday, with the final Oct. 31.

In Class 4A girls, No. 1 Wilkes-Barre Area and No. 2 Williamsport have byes to the semifinals.

On Thursday, No. 4 Delaware Valley hosts No. 5 Pittston Area at 6 p.m., and No. 3 Hazleton Area hosts No. 6 Wyoming Valley West at 4:30 p.m.

On Saturday, Wilkes-Barre Area hosts the Delaware Valley/Pittston Area winner at 6 p.m., and Williamsport hosts the Hazleton Area/Valley West winner at noon.

The final is scheduled for Oct. 29.

In Class 3A girls, WVC Division I champ Crestwood earned a quarterfinal bye. No. 4 North Pocono hosts No. 5 Dallas on Saturday at noon, with the winner traveling to Crestwood to face the Comets on Oct. 29 at 6 p.m.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Lackawanna League Division I champ No. 2 Abington Heights hosts No. 7 Wallenpaupack at 4:30 p.m., and No. 3 Valley View hosts No. 6 Berwick at 11 a.m.

The winners face off Oct. 29 in the semifinals, with the final Nov. 1.

In Class 2A girls, WVC Division II champ Wyoming Area secured the top seed Monday, after defeating Lake-Lehman, 4-2, in a one-game playoff for the conference crown. The Warriors host No. 8 Scranton Prep on Saturday at noon.

Also on Saturday, No. 2 Lake-Lehman hosts Lackawanna League Division III champ No. 7 Old Forge at noon, No. 3 Mid Valley hosts No. 6 Nanticoke Area at 6 p.m. and Lackawanna League Division II champ No. 4 Western Wayne hosts No. 5 Honesdale at 11 a.m.

Semifinals are Oct. 29, with the final Nov. 1.

In Class 1A girls, Montrose earned the top seed and will host No. 8 Wyoming Seminary on Thursday at 5 p.m.
