READING, Pa. – The Berks Area Regional Transportation Authority (BARTA) announced it will resume normal service this afternoon following this weekend’s winter storm.

BARTA officials say service will resume starting at 12:30 p.m. today and will follow BARTA alternate winter detours on certain routes.

Buses will depart from the BARTA Transportation Center in Reading at the first scheduled time point at or after 12:30 p.m. and will continue for the rest of the day.

BARTA also announced later Monday afternoon that buses will operate on their normal schedule Tuesday, with some routes on alternate winter detours.
