Carole L. (Beard) Mahon
OBITUARY
Carole L. (Beard) Mahon, 91, of West Lawn, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026 at home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late William J. “Bill” Mahon, who passed away Oct. 21, 2022.
Carole, a daughter of the late Woodrow and Eleanor Beard-Sweigert, was born outside of Sinking Spring. She is survived by two sons, William J. Mahon, husband of Donna, and Michael P. Mahon, husband of Lori; two daughters, Laurie J., wife of Rev. Ian Taylor, and Melissa A. Wentzel, companion of Mike Bollman; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
She was a member of St. John’s Reformed Church, Sinking Spring.
She was a 1952 graduate of Wilson High School. She retired in 1987 from the Bank of Pennsylvania.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, Jan. 29th, at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 W. Penn Ave., Wernersville. A viewing will be held from 10-11:00 AM, Thursday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hain’s Church Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.lammandwitman.com
