Brandon Graham is back.<\/p>\n
The two-time Super Bowl champion defensive end has come out of retirement and will re-join the Philadelphia Eagles, according to reports. <\/p>\n
Graham, 37, posted an Instagram video<\/a> on Monday teasing a special announcement he was going to make on his \u201cBrandon Graham Unblocked\u201d podcast Tuesday morning. He is finalizing a contract to re-join the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles this week, ESPN\u2019s Adam Schefter<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n Graham\u2019s return to the Eagles comes seven months after he retired from the NFL<\/a> in March, one month after the Eagles won Super Bowl LIX<\/a>.<\/p>\n Graham is the longest tenured player in Eagles franchise history, having played his entire 15-year career in Philadelphia. He ranks third in Eagles franchise history with 76.5 career sacks, behind only Hall of Famer Reggie White (124) and Trent Cole (85.5). He was also named Second Team All-Pro in 2016 and earned a Pro Bowl selection in 2018.<\/p>\n The former University of Michigan standout was drafted by the Eagles in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft, and helped lead Philly to winning Super Bowl LII in 2018 and Super Bowl LIX in February.<\/p>\n \u201cIf he were to come back, hell yeah,\u201d Eagles left tackle Jordan Mailata said after Philadelphia\u2019s win at Minnesota on Sunday. \u201cThat\u2019s uncle right there, uncle OG. One of the most important pieces we had getting a Super Bowl last year. I think it would just add depth and that pop.\u201d<\/p>\n Graham\u2019s return to Philadelphia comes days after Eagles DE Za\u2019Darius Smith abruptly retired from the NFL<\/a> six games into this season last week. His retirement came just over a month after he signed with Philadelphia<\/a> on Sept. 5.<\/p>\n Relatedly earlier this month, Indianapolis Colts cornerback Xavien Howard retired from the NFL<\/a> four games into this season.
