OPENINGS:<\/p>\n

Mr. Tacos opened Jan. 4<\/a> at 1601 W. Liberty St. in Allentown. The menu includes tacos, burritos, enchiladas, chilaquiles and quesadillas.<\/p>\n

Jennifer\u2019s Unique Boutique opened Jan. 16<\/a> at\u00a016 N. Whiteoak St. in Kutztown.<\/p>\n

Legends Cigar Bar held a grand opening Jan. 16<\/a> at 154 Northampton St. in Easton. It offers memberships, alcoholic beverages, cigars, appetizers, live music and private events.<\/p>\n

Mariachi Mexican Grill & John\u2019s Pizza will held a grand opening Jan. 19<\/a> at 8016 Route 873 in Washington Township, Lehigh County. It serves pizza, stromboli, sandwiches, tacos, chimichangas, quesadillas, burritos and nachos.<\/p>\n

The Indo-Chinese restaurant\u00a0Bharat Bistro held a soft reopening Jan. 21<\/a> inside the Palmer Park Mall in Palmer Township. Customers can order butter chicken, paneer, dosa, biryani and curry.<\/p>\n

Katie\u2019s Country Kitchen reopened Jan. 23<\/a> at 4804 Route 309 in North Whitehall Township. It offers burgers, seafood, platters, pasta, sandwiches and omelets.<\/p>\n

CLOSURES:<\/p>\n

The sandwich restaurant\u00a0Wiz Kidz\u00a0permanently closed<\/a>\u00a0in mid-December at 751 Union Blvd. in Allentown and temporarily closed Jan. 3 at 65 E. Elizabeth Ave. in Bethlehem.<\/p>\n

Staples closed Jan. 2<\/a> at the Whitehall Square shopping center at 2180 MacArthur Road in Whitehall Township.<\/p>\n

The Easton Public Market announced Jan. 2<\/a> that vendor More Than Q Barbecue Co. closed in Easton. Bincho-Don will replace it in February<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Radical Rations Restaurant announced on Jan. 2<\/a> its closure at 1213 Washington St. in Easton.<\/p>\n

Retro Burger permanently closed<\/a> at 1223 W. Broad St. in Bethlehem.<\/p>\n

The Twisted & Dipped ice cream store closed<\/a> at 446 Main St. in Bethlehem and will be replaced by a new office for Main Street Real Estate Group.<\/p>\n

GameStop closed one of its stores Jan. 8<\/a> at the Trainer\u2019s Corner shopping center at 210 N. West End Blvd. in Richland Township.<\/p>\n

The Wicked Chef closed Jan. 30<\/a> at 279 Cetronia Road in South Whitehall Township.<\/p>\n

The stationery store the paperbag closed its physical storefront Jan. 31<\/a> at The Shops at 3900 Hamilton in South Whitehall Township.<\/p>\n

December<\/p>\n

OPENINGS:<\/p>\n

Azur Mediterranean Bar & Grille\u00a0opened\u00a0Dec. 1<\/a> at the Trolley Barn Public Market in Quakertown. The menu includes hummus, falafel, kebab gyros, stuffed grape leaves, fish, spinach pie, baba ganoush and alcoholic beverages from Doan Distillery.<\/p>\n

Children\u2019s Art Classes held a grand opening and ribbon cutting Dec. 3<\/a> at 327 S. Cedar Crest Blvd. in Allentown.<\/p>\n

The pet salon Velvet Tails \u2013 Luxury Pet Services held a grand opening Dec. 5<\/a> at 39 Belvidere St. in Nazareth.<\/p>\n

Luna\u2019s Bakery & Cafe reopened Dec. 8<\/a> at 1120 W. Linden St. in Allentown.<\/p>\n

The Kawaii Shop opened at Promenade Saucon Valley<\/a> in Upper Saucon Township. It offers Japanese snacks, drinks, plush toys, ornaments, bags and artwork.<\/p>\n

The Cozy Crumbs Caf\u00e9\u00a0opened at the\u00a0ArtsWalk<\/a>\u00a0at 21 N. Seventh St. in Allentown.<\/p>\n

The hot dog vendor\u00a0Rod\u2019s Dogs reopened Dec. 11<\/a> at the Easton Public Market in Easton.<\/p>\n

Taichi Bubble Tea\u00a0held a grand opening\u00a0Dec. 12<\/a>\u00a0at 21 E. Third St. in Bethlehem, where it\u00a0offers teas, poke bowls, spring rolls and ramen.<\/p>\n

The Little Gym opened Dec. 15<\/a> at 6900 Hamilton Blvd. in Lower Macungie Township. It offers children\u2019s classes such as for gymnastics and social skills.<\/p>\n

Last Call Closeouts Liquidations opened<\/a> at 3143 William Penn Highway in Palmer Township.<\/p>\n

Dunkin\u2019 opened its new kiosk Dec. 29<\/a> at the Lehigh Valley Mall in Whitehall Township.<\/p>\n

The Broken Record began a soft opening period in late December<\/a> at 6776 Hamilton Blvd., Unit 1, in Lower Macungie Township, serving items like pizza, burgers, fish and appetizers.<\/p>\n

CLOSURES:<\/p>\n

HiJinx Brewing Co. closed its taproom on Dec. 20<\/a> at 905 Harrison St. in Allentown and ended brewery operations at the location Dec. 31.<\/p>\n

Bilal\u2019s Breakfast & Sandwiches permanently closed<\/a> at 46 W. North St. in Bethlehem.<\/p>\n

Jennifer\u2019s Unique Boutique held its last day Dec. 21<\/a> at the Lehigh Valley Mall in Whitehall Township.<\/p>\n

Casa Catrina announced on Dec. 22<\/a> that it wouldn\u2019t reopen at 1905 Brookside Road in Lower Macungie Township.<\/p>\n

Robert\u2019s Jewelers closed Dec. 24<\/a>\u00a0at 7751 Glenlivet West Drive in Upper Macungie Township.<\/p>\n

The Adagio seafood restaurant held its last day Dec. 27<\/a> at 530 Pembroke Road in Bethlehem.<\/p>\n

Caring Hearts Clothing Closet and More temporarily closed<\/a> to relocate from 7935 Route 873 in Washington Township to 241 Lehigh Gap St. in Walnutport.<\/p>\n

Old Mecca Caf\u00e9 announced Dec. 30<\/a> it would close at 527 Northampton St. in Easton.<\/p>\n

Chick-fil-A closed Dec. 31<\/a> at the Lehigh Valley Mall in Whitehall Township<\/p>\n
