Earlier this week the Pittsburgh Steelers unveiled their newest head coach in Mike McCarthy and obviously we spent five years watching him lead our Dallas Cowboys.<\/p>\n
Whether or not you are rooting for McCarthy, that would be a bit weird given the rivalry between Dallas and Pittsburgh but to each their own, is obviously up to you. At the very least him holding a new job and leading a new team is going to be fascinating from an informational perspective. Jason Garrett was the offensive coordinator for the New York Giants after leaving Dallas, but that was only for a single season. Wade Phillips went on to serve as a defensive coordinator again after leaving the Cowboys, but he also never led another team. Bill Parcells outright retired from football upon his time with this team.<\/p>\n

The overall point here is that we are going to be able to discern and corroborate (to a certain degree) things about a recent Dallas Cowboys head coach with an entirely new data set that is independent of this one. That is interesting.<\/p>\n
