OLYPHANT, LACKAWANNA CO. (WOLF) \u2014 Authorities are investigating a shooting that left a 3-year-old child injured Tuesday morning in Olyphant, according to Lackawanna County District Attorney Brian Gallagher.<\/p>\n
Police responded to a report of a shooting around 7:30 a.m. at a home in the 600 block of Lackawanna Avenue.<\/p>\n
The child was taken to a local hospital for medical treatment. No additional details about the circumstances of the shooting or the child\u2019s condition were immediately released as the investigation continues.<\/p>\n
In a statement to FOX56, Gallagher said, “Law enforcement is investigating a shooting where a three-year-old was shot and injured. There is no further threat to the public. The incident remains under investigation. “<\/p>\n
