{"id":101266,"date":"2026-01-31T01:45:10","date_gmt":"2026-01-31T01:45:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/101266\/"},"modified":"2026-01-31T01:45:10","modified_gmt":"2026-01-31T01:45:10","slug":"pittsburgh-fashion-community-remembers-woman-who-died-after-crashing-into-mon-river","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/101266\/","title":{"rendered":"Pittsburgh fashion community remembers woman who died after crashing into Mon River"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">PITTSBURGH \u2014 Investigators said Jacinta Stevens was the woman who died after her vehicle crashed into the Mon River on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Friday, Mayor Corey O\u2019Connor confirmed Jacinta Stevens worked for the city housing authority. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">She was also a model and a Pittsburgh fashion designer is remembering her.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">\u201cShe was beautiful, inside and out and she\u2019s gonna be really missed by so many,\u201d said Eva Dixon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Pittsburgh-based fashion designer Eva Dixon owns \u201cI Do Designs By Eva.\u201d She worked with runway model Jacinta Stevens for 3 years. She says she just spoke to Stevens two days ago about an upcoming modeling gig in New York City.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">\u201cShe was excited. She was like, \u2018Oh yes, I can\u2019t wait yes, send me the details!\u201d Dixon said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The 31-year-old who lived in the West End posted a video to her social media where you can see her modeling.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">\u201cShe\u2019s always funny, really cute. She was the life of the party, you know. In so many ways, she was just a good friend for many of the models who were just starting out,\u201d Dixon explained.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Dixon says Stevens was a sweet and loving person who always wanted to give back.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">\u201cThere\u2019s so much emotion going on right now with the fact that she\u2019s a big loss to our community and my prayers go out to the family in general.
