In these photos, I explore a few different churches from around campus and downtown.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Saint Peter Cathedral<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-25864\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/IMG_8178-e1769833850880-450x600.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"600\"  \/>Right on Sassafras Street lies the Saint Peter Catholic Cathedral. It\u2019s a breathtaking building with beautiful architecture, highlighting the stained glasses windows and tall clock tower. The different arches, windows, and silhouettes show the beauty of this building. (Bailey Clements)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Cathedral of St Paul<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-25865\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/IMG_8198-e1769833860493-450x600.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"600\"  \/>Located right near Old Main is the Episcopal cathedral of St Paul. This building is set apart by its shining golden cross at the top of a high peak. (Bailey Clements)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">First Presbyterian Church of the Covenant<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-25866\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/IMG_8225-e1769833872594-450x600.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"600\"  \/>A serene church with wide open arches makes for a peaceful scene in downtown Erie. The beautiful artwork in the window reveals intricate designs. (Bailey Clements)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Mary, Seat of Wisdom Chapel<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-25867\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/IMG_8233-e1769833881444-450x600.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"600\"  \/>Right in the heart of campus lies Gannon\u2019s own Catholic Church. This brick building is surrounded by stone pillars and topped with a bell tower. (Bailey Clements)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">First United Methodist Church<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-25868\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/IMG_8246-e1769833907471-450x600.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"600\"  \/>This Church can be found on campus, right near the Nash Library. A captivating view of the stained-glass windows is shown here, the blue designs look striking against the orange brick. St. Patrick\u2019s is a huge, stunning building with impressive architecture.
