The company reported that the issue was identified shortly after 12:20 p.m. and remains under investigation. While the cause has not been confirmed, some customers in the affected area may experience reduced water pressure or a temporary loss of service.<\/p>\n
Scranton police say portions of Ash Street and Myrtle Street are closed. The closures stretch from North Washington Avenue to Madison Avenue as crews work at the scene. Drivers are advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes while repairs are underway.<\/p>\n
American Water said crews are on the scene and are working to determine the source of the problem. The investigation is expected to continue into the late afternoon, with updates anticipated as more information becomes available.<\/p>\n
