ALLENTOWN, Pa. \u2014 Two Allentown men accused of killing another last month near Center City were ordered by a county judge to stand trial on homicide and other charges.<\/p>\n
Jason Gonzalez, 25, and Garfield McLean Jr., 30, were charged with homicide, conspiracy to commit homicide and illegally possessing a firearm after a 24-year-old man was killed Oct. 1.<\/p>\n
Lehigh County District Judge Jacob Hammond, after a preliminary hearing Tuesday, ordered Gonzalez and McLean to face trial on all charges.<\/p>\n
Gonzalez also faces a misdemeanor charge of recklessly endangering another person because authorities said a second person was put at risk of death or seriously bodily injury during the shooting.<\/p>\n
Authorities allege Gonzalez and McLean fatally shot 24-year-old Jahlik Colon, of Berks County, at an apartment in the 100 block of North Eighth Street. <\/p>\n

Colon died from multiple gunshot wounds; the other person was almost struck by bullets, according to authorities.<\/p>\n
Allentown police said they were called to the site of the shooting and found Colon, suffering from gunshot wounds, laying in the doorway of an apartment building.<\/p>\n

Allentown police used city surveillance cameras and license-plate readers to track a vehicle that fled from the area of the shooting.<\/p>\n
Footage showed a man, later identified as Gonzalez, running to and from the car at the time of the shooting, the Lehigh County District Attorney\u2019s Office said in a news release.<\/p>\n
