{"id":102285,"date":"2026-02-01T13:53:08","date_gmt":"2026-02-01T13:53:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/102285\/"},"modified":"2026-02-01T13:53:08","modified_gmt":"2026-02-01T13:53:08","slug":"two-people-arrested-following-months-long-multi-state-drug-investigation-in-pennsylvania-and-ohio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/102285\/","title":{"rendered":"Two people arrested following months-long, multi-state drug investigation in Pennsylvania and Ohio"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Washington County man finds himself behind bars as of this weekend as a result of a multi-state drug investigation.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to the Washington County Sheriff&#8217;s Office, a four-month-long investigation focused on stopping the distribution of several different kinds of drugs, including heroin, cocaine, and crack-cocaine across portions of western Pennsylvania and Ohio.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As a result of the investigation, 53-year-old Archie Orison was taken into custody during a traffic stop on State Route 18 in Burgettstown.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>      <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/archieorisonmugshot.png#.png\" alt=\"archieorisonmugshot.png \" height=\"349\" width=\"620\" class=\" lazyload\"  loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/p>\n<p>                  Mugshot of Archie Orison<\/p>\n<p>                Washington County Sheriff&#8217;s Office\/Facebook<\/p>\n<p>When he was stopped, police said he was in possession of crack cocaine.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Orison is now being housed in the Washington County Correctional Facility.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, after Orison was taken into custody, the Jefferson County Drug Task Force in Ohio executed a search warrant at a home in Steubenville.
