MOOSIC, LACKAWANNA CO. (WOLF) \u2014 Police in Moosic Borough are asking for the public\u2019s help identifying a woman they believe may be connected to a criminal mischief incident that has drawn attention online.<\/p>\n
According to the Moosic Borough Police Department, the incident happened around 2:17 p.m. on January 29. Investigators say a photograph circulating on social media over the weekend appears to show a woman tearing down a political flag. The image has since been widely shared, prompting numerous questions from residents.<\/p>\n
Police have not released details about where the incident occurred or the type of political flag involved, but they say the individual shown in the photo is believed to be connected to the reported vandalism.<\/p>\n
Authorities are now working to determine the identity of the woman and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
