\t\t\tOBITUARY\t\t<\/p>\n
Carol Schofield, Dunmore, passed away at her home after being stricken ill. She was the widow of James P. Schofield Sr.<\/p>\n
\nBorn 1949 in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Violet Sangiuliano Emiliani. She was a graduate of West Scranton High School. She worked as a clerk in the county court system, Pennsylvania Illuminating Company, and retired from the University of Scranton.<\/p>\n
\nCarol was a simple woman who enjoyed nothing more than being with her family. She was happiest when cooking and sharing her favorite dishes as well as watching her favorite baseball team in the summer. Carol had a special place for everyone of her pets and always included them as part of the family.<\/p>\n
\nSurviving are her son, James P. Schofield Jr.; brother-in-law, Luke Schofield, and wife Denise, Niece Nicole Schofield (Rocco), all of Dunmore.<\/p>\n
\nMass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10am in the Immaculate Conception Church, 801 Taylor Ave.<\/p>\n
\nFriends may call Wednesday from 9:15am until the time of Mass in the church<\/p>\n
\nInterment will take place in Cathedral Cemetery<\/p>\n
\nDonations in Carol\u2019s memory may be made to St. Cats and Dog Inc.<\/p>\n
