{"id":104620,"date":"2026-02-04T06:26:16","date_gmt":"2026-02-04T06:26:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/104620\/"},"modified":"2026-02-04T06:26:16","modified_gmt":"2026-02-04T06:26:16","slug":"extras-needed-for-pittsburgh-filming-of-upcoming-season-5-of-mayor-of-kingstown","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/104620\/","title":{"rendered":"Extras needed for Pittsburgh filming of upcoming Season 5 of &#8220;Mayor of Kingstown&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Filming is set to begin soon in Pittsburgh for the final season of &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/mayor-of-kingstown-jeremy-renner-edie-falco-season-four\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Mayor of Kingstown<\/a>&#8221; and a casting call is going out looking for extras.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/pittsburgh\/news\/mayor-of-kingstown-season-5-final\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Paramount+ announced plans to renew the the show<\/a> for a fifth and final season.<\/p>\n<p>The drama, which stars <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/jeremy-renner-on-how-returning-to-acting-helped-him-heal-snowplow-accident\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Oscar nominee Jeremy Renner<\/a> and Emmy winner Edie Falco, centers around the McLusky family in the fictional town of Kingstown, Michigan.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, <a href=\"https:\/\/movieextraspittsburgh.com\/mok-season-5-apply\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Movie Casting Pittsburgh announced that filming is scheduled to begin in early March<\/a> and is expected to continue through June. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>People interested in participating in filming as an extra <a href=\"https:\/\/airtable.com\/app6ZmyRsGftuG5C8\/shrPKhOQzdkfsalaB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">can apply online<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/moviecastingpgh\/posts\/pfbid02fzFVejCtpzZoFJdNMqTAorZ8nKq8YgwkGnMfJuasErPW37GD26uTrCNuT2b8xq5Yl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">The casting call announcement said<\/a> that the show is looking for people of all ages and ethnicities and that extras will fill various roles including town locals, law enforcement officers, prison guards, gang members, inmates, bar patrons, and more.<\/p>\n<p>      <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/kdka-mayor-of-kingstown-bedford-dwellings.png#.png\" alt=\"kdka-mayor-of-kingstown-bedford-dwellings.png \" height=\"349\" width=\"620\" class=\" lazyload\"  loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/p>\n<p>                  A fifth and final season of &#8220;Mayor of Kingstown&#8221; is set to begin filming in March in Pittsburgh.Filming is expected to run through June.<\/p>\n<p>                KDKA<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If you&#8217;ve applied in the past, we highly recommend submitting a refresher,&#8221; the casting call said. &#8220;It&#8217;s been about a year since the last season, and looks change\u2014hair, size info, contact details, all of it.
