\t\t\tOBITUARY\t\t<\/p>\n
Edward J. Budney, 88, of Scranton, died Friday at Green Ridge Care Center. He was born in Scranton and was the son of the late Walter and Blanche Scep Budney. His wife, the former Jacquelyn Oyler, preceded him in death.<\/p>\n
\nEd was a graduate of Scranton Tech High School and was a member of the Teamsters Union, #229.<\/p>\n
\nEd loved to RV, go on cruises, and spend his winters in Florida with his wife, Jackie. Eddie loved to save money, clipping coupons and searching for deals. Friends and family joked that the more he saved, the more Jackie spent<\/p>\n
\nSurviving are his son, Richard and wife Kim of Scranton, a daughter, Melissa and wife Casey of Lancaster, four grandchildren, Kylie, Kirstin, Bryce and Connor, a great-grandchild, Haley and a brother, Richard of Archbald. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Elaine Davis and Peggy Budney.<\/p>\n
\nThe family will have a private service.<\/p>\n
