(PHILADELPHIA, PA) — This Valentine’s season, romance takes a darker, more seductive turn at Cupid’s Nest, an exclusive pop-up experience inside Newsroom Philly<\/a>. Hidden behind a discreet 7-up soda machine entrance on Germantown Avenue, this Valentine and Galentine themed speakeasy is fully reimagined as a sultry, rose-soaked hideout built for date nights, Galentine’s celebrations and spontaneous late nights.<\/p>\n

Running Wednesday through Sunday throughout the Valentine’s season, Cupid’s Nest blends moody lighting, immersive design and playful adult Valentine’s energy – where classic romance collides with modern nightlife. Look for hundreds of roses, red and pink hearts, twinkling red and white lights, photo stations and the giant glowing heart aerial hoop custom built for dazzling aerial circus entertainment on select nights. Tables are covered in formal red linens and themed cocktails are pouring at the bar, with some new elevated options from the kitchen, perfect for sharing.<\/p>\n

Enter through the Diet 7-Up machine, and past the giant red heart on N. 2nd Street along Northern Liberties Restaurant Row, and enter a dimly lit hallway filled with hanging roses and a romantic rose photo wall at the end. Enter through the door behind the red velvet curtain and enter the romantic scene that looks like it could be right from a movie.<\/p>\n

Immersive Decor Highlights:\u00a0A 6-foot oversized love teddy bear anchoring the space;\u00a0A large rose-covered arch installation for dramatic entrances and photo moments;\u00a0Red rose\u2013drenched styling layered throughout the room;\u00a0Low, moody lighting designed to feel intimate and cinematic;\u00a0Live aerialist performances on select nights, adding a striking visual centerpiece.<\/p>\n

Programming rotates nightly and includes themed happy hours, DJ-led parties, karaoke nights, and elevated brunch experiences. Select evenings feature live aerialist performances, heightening the sense of spectacle and escapism.<\/p>\n

For Cupid’s Nest, look for a special late night happy hour with $8 drinks including No Stri ngs Attached, Poisoned Kiss and NR Lychee Martini – available 10:30am to close.<\/p>\n

Guests can also upgrade their experience with exclusive add-on packages, including a specialty cocktail, a Cupid’s Nest take-home shot glass, and dessert pairings – designed for those who want to lean fully into the fantasy.<\/p>\n
