Three Lehigh Valley establishments were cited in January by the state Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for alleged liquor law violations.<\/p>\n
Licensees will have a chance to defend themselves against the citations before an administrative law judge, who may impose fines between $50 to $1,000 for minor violations, or up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. The judge may also suspend or revoke business licenses or mandate training.<\/p>\n
The following businesses were cited:<\/p>\n
Lehigh County<\/p>\n
Mercantile Club of Emmaus, Emmaus:\u00a0Allegedly sold alcoholic beverages to nonmembers on Nov. 22.<\/p>\n
Wescosville Fire Co., Wescosville: Allegedly sold alcoholic beverages to nonmembers on Nov. 21 and allegedly failed to maintain records conforming with Liquor Code from Jan. 1, 2025, to Jan. 13, 2026.<\/p>\n
Northampton County<\/p>\n
