{"id":107243,"date":"2026-02-06T19:53:24","date_gmt":"2026-02-06T19:53:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/107243\/"},"modified":"2026-02-06T19:53:24","modified_gmt":"2026-02-06T19:53:24","slug":"2-men-plead-guilty-to-raping-teen-girl-in-lehigh-county-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/107243\/","title":{"rendered":"2 men plead guilty to raping teen girl in Lehigh County home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"DCRQPLNKLBEF3JKSPRQO22NGO4\">Two men have admitted <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lehighvalleylive.com\/news\/2025\/02\/2-men-accused-of-raping-teen-girl-in-slatington-home.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.lehighvalleylive.com\/news\/2025\/02\/2-men-accused-of-raping-teen-girl-in-slatington-home.html\">raping a teen girl <\/a>last year in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lehighvalleylive.com\/topic\/Slatington\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Slatington<\/a> home.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"HUOWIOUEXFFAZDXCYZIW2PAN2E\">Tristan Zawick, 23, of Whitehall, and Jacquan Tanasse, 19, of Slatington, each pleaded guilty to rape; criminal conspiracy to commit rape; false imprisonment; and conspiracy to commit false imprisonment, the Lehigh County district attorney\u2019s office announced Friday. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"V4HON5LXI5GMLC45SXDKRDOGIY\">Tanasse also pleaded guilty to a strangulation charge.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"SF7XRCDQGJANPLMCX5A5IVFRDU\">Presentence investigations were ordered for both, and the pair are scheduled to be sentenced May 28 by Judge James Anthony.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"LAKHCUJABRFIBISNJIYNUGLDDQ\">Tanasse and Zawick have been held in Lehigh County Jail on $400,000 bail each since February 2025, records show. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"TVQSTRRCHNGTTAY5725MDPRNSA\">Slatington police said they were called the night of Feb. 7, 2025, to a home in the 200 block of Walnut Street and found a female teen victim in the basement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"YDZNTOQH2NH2NHE4FYPST5IMRI\">The girl told investigators she was raped by Zawick and Tanassee, who physically restrained her and wrapped a cord around her wrists, court records state.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"GZAA2EKAXZEZLNS35ZTG5ONOCE\">The victim reported being choked by Tanassee during the attack, police said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Two men have admitted raping a teen girl last year in a Slatington home.
