{"id":108154,"date":"2026-02-08T01:06:07","date_gmt":"2026-02-08T01:06:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/108154\/"},"modified":"2026-02-08T01:06:07","modified_gmt":"2026-02-08T01:06:07","slug":"carve-for-cancer-festival-returns-to-montage-mountain-to-aid-blood-cancer-patients","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/108154\/","title":{"rendered":"Carve for Cancer Festival returns to Montage Mountain to aid blood cancer patients"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Carve for Cancer Winter Festival returns for its 14th year at Montage Mountain, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the &#8220;Live Like Brent Foundation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>SCRANTON, Pa. \u2014 The Carve for Cancer Winter Festival returned on Saturday for its 14th year at Montage Mountain in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wnep.com\/section\/lackawanna-county\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Lackawanna County<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s bigger, louder, and snowier than ever, with ski and snowboarding demos, live music, and a free-to-enter competition on the slopes.<\/p>\n<p>Organizers say the festival aims to raise awareness of blood cancers and help patients in need.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You know we&#8217;ve had really, really cold years, and we&#8217;ve had really, really warm years, and the same thing is true. It&#8217;s an amazing vibe.
