A.J. Brown\u2019s future in Philadelphia has been a hot topic for what feels like years now, as everyone seems to have something to say about it.<\/p>\n

We haven\u2019t heard much from Brown himself about it, though, until now. During an appearance on Micah Parson\u2019s podcast, Brown expressed excitement<\/a> about the future in Philadelphia following some changed to the offensive coaching staff over the offseason.<\/p>\n

The Eagles<\/a> recently hired Sean Sean Mannion to replace Kevin Patullo as offensive coordinator. They also brought in Josh Grizzard to serve as passing game coordinator.<\/p>\n

Brown showed some serious respect for Patullo, but also acknowledged that a change was necessary after the way the offense performed this past season.<\/p>\n

\u201cI’m always excited,\u201d Brown said. \u201cYou know, sometimes change is not a bad thing. I have the utmost respect for [Kevin Patullo]. To me, he did a tremendous job, and he has a great heart. But I’m excited for the season. I’m excited for what’s to come.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brown also had a lot of positive things to say about the city of Philadelphia and the notoriously passionate Eagles fans.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I got to Philly, man, Philly welcomed me with open arms,\u201d Brown said. \u201cThat’s home, man, and I love them. I love the support, I love the accountability, I love everything else that they do. But it just, I love it. \u2026 Philly is Philly. You have to be there to understand.\u201d<\/p>\n

Those don\u2019t sound like comments from someone who is looking to be traded away from Philadelphia. Brown was undeniably frustrated throughout the 2025 season, but it seems like that frustration stemmed from the offense consistently underachieving, as opposed to it being the result of issues with teammates or the organization.<\/p>\n

In 2026, Philadelphia\u2019s offense will likely look a lot like it did in \u201925, personnel-wise. So, how does the unit bounce back from a forgettable campaign?<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, as an offense, we just come back and just really watch the tape and rediscover ourselves and go to work each and every day,\u201d Brown said. \u201cBeing accountable and just taking one day at a time.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have great leaders in our locker room and I’m fortunate to be a part of that, especially on offense. And we do have a lot of talent, but talent gets us nowhere. So it’s all about being detailed and being disciplined.\u201d<\/p>\n

Maybe these comments from Brown will silence some of the gossip and speculation about his future in Philly. Probably not though.<\/p>\n
