Joe Jonas<\/a> is sticking with cake by the ocean.<\/p>\n

After a TikTok<\/a> video featuring the \u201cWork It Out\u201d singer appearing to fidget with his nose during a recent Jonas Brothers<\/a> concert went viral, fans began to speculate that he may have been using cocaine on the side of the stage.<\/p>\n

However, Jonas, 36, firmly put a stop to the rumors with an unflinching declaration about his drug use \u2014 or lack thereof \u2014 telling “Esquire<\/a>” in an interview published Oct. 21, \u201cI\u2019ve never touched cocaine in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to the firm denial, Jonas noted that taking the stimulant in front of thousands of fans during the Greetings From Your Hometown Tour wouldn\u2019t exactly be subtle.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I did,\u201d he continued, \u201cI think I\u2019d be a little slicker about it than doing it onstage.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shortly after the video in question began circulating online in September, Jonas \u2014 who shares kids Willa, 4, and Delphine, 2, with ex-wife Sophie Turner<\/a> \u2014 offered a more playful take on the situation, commenting on the post, \u201clol you never had a booger?\u201d<\/p>\n

While Jonas has steered clear of cocaine, that doesn\u2019t mean he hasn\u2019t experimented with other substances in the past. In December 2013, he offered a candid reflection on his early marijuana use, revealing that he was first introduced to the drug by his fellow Disney Channel alums Demi Lovato<\/a> and Miley Cyrus<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe first time I smoked weed was with Demi and Miley. I must have been 17 or 18,\u201d he wrote in an essay published in New York<\/a> magazine at the time. \u201cThey kept saying, \u2018Try it! Try it!\u2019 so I gave it a shot, and it was all right.\u201d<\/p>\n

Indeed, the high didn\u2019t seem to last long for Jonas, as he added, \u201cI don’t even smoke weed that often anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n
