{"id":108505,"date":"2026-02-08T15:55:08","date_gmt":"2026-02-08T15:55:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/108505\/"},"modified":"2026-02-08T15:55:08","modified_gmt":"2026-02-08T15:55:08","slug":"driver-dead-after-parkway-west-wrong-way-crash-wpxi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/108505\/","title":{"rendered":"Driver dead after Parkway West wrong-way crash \u2013 WPXI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">PITTSBURGH  \u2014 A driver died in a wrong-way crash on the Parkway West early Sunday morning. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The crash was reported just before 4 a.m. on I-376 near Campbell Run Road (Exit 62). <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Pennsylvania State Police say a Toyota Prius was traveling east in the westbound lanes and collided head-on with a gray Mercedes SUV.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Per PSP, the driver of the Prius died on scene.
