TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A house fire that injured one person inside is being investigated Monday morning.<\/p>\n
Two people were inside the Erie St. home at the time of the fire. One of them needed to be taken to the hospital, while the other got out safely.<\/p>\n
The call came in around 3:45 a.m. for a house fire on Erie near the intersection with Bush.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Firefighters on the scene said that a hot plate being left on could be the potential cause of the fire. <\/p>\n
The incident remains under investigation. <\/p>\n
