However, an agreement allows Millcreek Police to access camera data for legitimate criminal investigations.<\/p>\n<p>Supervisor Jim Bock emphasized the cameras would exist regardless of the agreement, which simply provides police access when necessary.<\/p>\n<p>The Township emphasizes that, \u201cany access to camera data is limited to authorized law enforcement personnel and is governed by applicable law, policy, and safeguards. The technology is intended to assist with investigations involving vehicle-related incidents and timesensitive cases\u2014not routine surveillance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Federal courts, including in Schmidt v.
