According to the NOAA Satellite and Information Service<\/a>, which reposted a timelapse<\/a> from the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere, the crack was approximately 80 miles long and stretched from Port Burwell, Ontario, to near Cleveland, Ohio.
