EMMAUS, Pa. \u2013 Individuals seeking to enhance their home\u2019s functionality with state-of-the-art appliances for cooking, laundry and other household tasks have a new showroom to browse in Lehigh County.<\/p>\n
Prestige Appliance, offering a wide range of top-of-the-line appliances from more than 50 brands, will hold a grand opening event from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12, at 133 State Ave. in Emmaus.<\/p>\n

Prestige Appliance is the sister company to Prestige Marble & Granite, offering products and services for various countertop, tile and hardscape needs, which has been serving the Lehigh Valley and surrounding region for more than 25 years.<\/p>\n
The new venture represents continued investment in the community, local job growth and a new destination showroom featuring premium appliance brands for homeowners, builders and designers.<\/p>\n
Prestige owner Mark Kensinger saw an opportunity to further serve the community with top-of-the-line ranges, refrigerators and other appliances from popular brands such as LG, Bosch, Frigidaire, Maytag, Whirlpool and GE Appliances.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Kensinger] had a vision to make this a one-stop shop where you could come in and purchase almost everything for your kitchen \u2013 from appliances to countertops,\u201d manager Kim Sheeran told 69 News.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo, we have an expansive line of appliances, including many luxury products, alongside a wide assortment of countertop options for both kitchens and bathrooms. We cater to all budgets.\u201d<\/p>\n
Prestige Marble & Granite offers a wide array of prime materials, including granite, quartz, marble and Corian selections, and the business\u2019 fabrication shop allows it to design and cut pieces to specific measurements based on customers\u2019 needs, Sheeran said.<\/p>\n
The business also offers tiles such as ceramic, glass, granite, marble, slate, porcelain, natural stone and mosaic tiles, along with hardscaping items such as pavers, cobbles, flagstones and pebbles.<\/p>\n

Prestige Appliance\u2019s showroom occupies a renovated space that previously housed products and displays for Prestige Marble & Granite, Sheeran said.<\/p>\n
The team spent nearly a year revamping the space with new flooring, walls, lighting and other upgrades.<\/p>\n
Customers can shop a wide variety of the latest refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, ranges, cooktops, front- and top-load washers, dryers and other appliances.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have popular brands like Frigidaire and Maytag, and we also have some more high-end brands like Viking, Sub-Zero and Wolf,\u201d Sheeran said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere are also Fulgor Milano products, which are made in Italy. Everything is in demo mode. So, you can open anything up and get a feel for the appliances, envisioning what they would look and sound like in your home. For example, you could test out our ventilation hoods. A lot of people want to know how a hood will sound before they make a purchase.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prestige Appliance\u2019s grand opening will feature complimentary refreshments, including hors d\u2019oeuvres, drinks and desserts, along with pizza-making demonstrations utilizing a Frigidaire oven that makes pizzas in under three minutes, Sheeran said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will also have some giveaways and raffles,\u201d Sheeran added. \u201cSome of our vendors have donated appliances, and we\u2019re going to raffle those off to the folks who are coming.\u201d<\/p>\n
Prestige Appliance is offering several appliance deals through Feb. 25 as part of its President\u2019s Day sale.<\/p>\n
Showroom hours coincide with those of Prestige Marble & Granite: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays.<\/p>\n
