Reading Public Library is once again offering the \u201cGreat Decisions\u201d Discussion Group Series in 2026, presenting conversations on some of the most critical global issues facing America today.<\/p>\n
The 2026 topics are:<\/p>\n
March 17: Trump Tariffs and the Future of the World EconomyMarch 24: America and the World: Trump 2.0 Foreign PolicyMarch 31: Multilateral Institutions in a Changing World OrderApril 14: Ruptured Alliances and the Risk of Nuclear ProliferationApril 21: U.S. Engagement of AfricaApril 28: U.S.-China RelationsMay 5: The Future of Human Rights and International LawMay 12: Ukraine and the Future of European Security (followed by a luncheon)<\/p>\n
The discussion group will meet from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. in person at Reading Public Library Foundation Building, 113 S. 4th St., Reading.<\/p>\n
Topics are presented through a briefing book, a video presentation, and a facilitated discussion. The $35.00 registration fee includes a briefing book with expert papers on all topics. The fee for two people sharing a briefing book is $40.00. Scholarship opportunities are available.<\/p>\n
