{"id":112323,"date":"2026-02-12T19:59:07","date_gmt":"2026-02-12T19:59:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/112323\/"},"modified":"2026-02-12T19:59:07","modified_gmt":"2026-02-12T19:59:07","slug":"electric-landscaping-demonstration-being-held-in-bryn-mawr","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/112323\/","title":{"rendered":"Electric Landscaping Demonstration Being Held In Bryn Mawr"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BRYN MAWR, PA \u2014 As Lower Merion Township eases into the <a href=\"https:\/\/patch.com\/pennsylvania\/ardmore\/gas-leaf-blowers-banned-lower-merion-township\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ban on gas-powered leaf blowers<\/a>, an upcoming workshop will help educate residents on how to landscape using electric equipment.<\/p>\n<p>An electric landscaping training and equipment demonstration will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 5 at Ludington Library in Bryn Mawr.<\/p>\n<p>Lower Merion-area landscaping professionals and caretakers of commercial, institutional, and municipal properties are welcome to attend the free event.<\/p>\n<p>The classroom training, held from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., is reserved for landscaping professionals only. Spanish interpretation will be available. The public is invited to attend the equipment demonstration from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Registration is required, as space is limited, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/e\/electric-landscaping-training-equipment-demonstration-tickets-1982445741579?aff=ebdsshcopyurl&amp;utm-campaign=social&amp;utm-content=attendeeshare&amp;utm-medium=discovery&amp;utm-source=cp&amp;utm-term=listing&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_source=govdelivery\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">available online here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The training and equipment demonstration will guide landscaping professionals on the transition to electric landscaping equipment.<\/p>\n<p>Attendees will get an hour of expert-led classroom instruction, focusing on the logistics, economics, and benefits of transitioning to electric equipment.<\/p>\n<p>Participants will then get hands-on demonstrations of electric equipment from manufacturers such as STIHL, Kress, Milwaukee, Greenworks, EGO, and more.<\/p>\n<p>Participants will have a chance to win raffle prizes, including handheld blower sets.<\/p>\n<p>Ludington Library is located at 5 S.
