\t\t\tOBITUARY\t\t<\/p>\n
Lee H. Posey, 81, of Cumru Township, passed away Tuesday, February 10,<\/p>\n
2026, at 3:30pm at Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Joanne M.<\/p>\n
(Kovach) Posey. Born in Reading, Mr. Posey was the son of the late<\/p>\n
Harrison Posey III and Gertrude (Zettlemoyer) Posey. He was a member of<\/p>\n
Lincoln Park United Methodist Church and served in the United States<\/p>\n
Army during the Vietnam Era. Mr. Posey graduated from Governor Mifflin<\/p>\n
High School in 1962, received a Bachelor of Science degree in<\/p>\n
Mathematics\/Physics from Albright College in 1966, and earned his<\/p>\n
Master\u2019s Degree in Engineering Science from the Pennsylvania State<\/p>\n
University in May 1988. He was employed by AT&T as a computer<\/p>\n
engineer until his retirement and then worked as a driver for Piazza Auto<\/p>\n
Group in Reading for 10 years. In addition to his wife, Mr. Posey is<\/p>\n
survived by his children, Heather J. Kostival, wife of Darren R. Kostival, of<\/p>\n
Cumru Township; Alexander T. Posey, husband of Kim M. (Reese) Posey,<\/p>\n
of Exeter Township; Alyssa L. Herbert, wife of Donald G. Herbert, of Cumru<\/p>\n
Township; Jessica H. Gerhart, wife of Ralph A. Gerhart, Jr., of Robeson<\/p>\n
Township, his grandchildren, Daniel, Benjamin, Sierra, Meigin, Lauren,<\/p>\n
Emma, Andrew, and Madalynn, and his great grandchildren Brooks and<\/p>\n
Elizabeth. He is also survived by his siblings John Posey of Pleasanton,<\/p>\n
California, and Susan Stires, wife of Kinne Stires, of Wiscasset, Maine.<\/p>\n
Celebration of Life Service will be held at Bean Funeral Homes &<\/p>\n
Cremation Services at 129 East Lancaster Avenue, Shillington, PA, on<\/p>\n
Monday, February 16, 2026, at 11:30am. Reverend Dr. Quentin Wallace<\/p>\n
will officiate. Military Honors will be rendered by the United States Army<\/p>\n
Honor Guard at 11:20 am. The family will receive relatives and friends on<\/p>\n
Monday from 9:00am to 11:20am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be<\/p>\n
made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD<\/p>\n
