READING, Pa. – Firefighters in Reading had their hands full Friday morning as they battled a blaze on the city’s south side.<\/p>\n

Crews were called to the 200 block of Chapel Terrace around 10:00 a.m. for a structure fire on the first floor that extended to a neighboring residence.<\/p>\n

Fire officials say there are no injuries and no one was at home at the time of the fire.<\/p>\n

Eight people are displaced as a result of the fire and the Red Cross had been contacted to assist.<\/p>\n

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.<\/p>\n
