GIANT & SVSD PARTNERSHIP HELPS STUDENTS IN NEED: The GIANT Company is partnering with Saucon Valley School District\u00a0to help support students in the community who are facing food insecurity. Through\u00a0March 31,\u00a0everyone who shops at GIANT stores will be invited to \u201cround up\u201d their bill to the closest dollar. The funds raised will support Feeding School Kids. Customers can also give back by converting their CHOICE Rewards Points to donations in the GIANT app. Saucon Valley\u2019s goal is to\u00a0support children in the district who need the most help accessing nutritious meals and\u00a0snacks. From backpacks with weekend food, to clearing lunch debt, to building a community\u00a0pantry in Saucon Valley schools, the funds will be provided directly to the district\u2019s food services program for\u00a0use at its discretion to address food insecurity in the school community.<\/p>\n
STUDENT-ATHLETE RECERTIFICATION: All student-athletes must complete athletic registration or annual recertification before the start of their season.\u00a0If a student has not yet registered or completed recertification, they should do so as soon as possible by visiting the\u00a0Athletics section of the SVpanthers.org<\/a> website.<\/p>\n KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION: 2026-27 Kindergarten Registration opens on Wednesday, Feb. 18.<\/p>\n FAMILY MATH & LITERARY NIGHT: Will be held in the SVES Cafeteria on Thursday, Feb. 26 from 5 to 7 p.m.<\/p>\n SVHS THEATRE PRESENTS \u2018THE DROWSY CHAPERONE\u2019: The talented high school theater department will present the musical-comedy \u2018The Drowsy Chaperone\u2019 this spring. The show will open on Thursday, April 16, in the SVHS Auditorium. Additional performances will be held April 17-19.
