Second St. in Coplay, about a year after a fire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mcall.com\/2025\/02\/12\/popular-lehigh-county-restaurant-closed-after-fire-tuesday\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">forced it to close<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The menu includes bacon-based dishes such as sandwiches and wraps as well as burgers, pancakes, soups and chili.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/p\/1DB4uS1Cph\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The restaurant hours<\/a> will be 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday and Tuesday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Emily Alkhal opened The Bacon Strip <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mcall.com\/2015\/05\/16\/the-bacon-strip-sizzles-2\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">in 2015<\/a> with her fianc\u00e9 Ruben Santiago.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A popular bacon-themed restaurant has announced its reopening day in the Lehigh Valley.
