Multi-Year Contract Delivers 250 New Union Jobs and Economic Boost to Region

STEELTON, PA\u00a0\u2013\u00a0On\u00a0Friday, February 13, U.S. Senator Dave McCormick (R-PA) visited Dura-Bond Pipe\u2019s Steelton facility to join company leadership, federal and state elected officials, and workers in announcing a new multi-year contract between Dura-Bond with TC Energy that will generate $300 million in new revenue and create more than 250 new jobs in Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n

Founded in 1960, Dura-Bond is an American-owned and operated steel pipe manufacturer proudly serving the Marcellus Shale region. The company has a long history of supplying domestically produced, large-diameter line pipe for natural gas and critical infrastructure projects across the country. To meet increased demand under the new contract, Dura-Bond will add an additional shift at its Steelton facility, expanding its workforce and strengthening the region\u2019s manufacturing base.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom day one, my team and I have been proud to stand with Dura-Bond as they\u2019ve grown stronger and created opportunity for Pennsylvania workers,\u201d said Senator Dave McCormick. \u201cThis $300 million contract with TC Energy will create 250 new union jobs and strengthen the Marcellus Shale region\u2019s role in powering American manufacturing.
