Fisher \t\t<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\tOBITUARY\t\t<\/p>\n<p>Alice H. (Kring) Fisher, 95, of Mohnton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday,<\/p>\n<p>February 10, 2026, at Phoebe-Berks in Wernersville, surrounded by the love of her<\/p>\n<p>family\u2014just as she had lived her life, quietly and graciously, with those she cherished<\/p>\n<p>most.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Reading Hospital, she was a daughter of the late Arthur R. and Julia A.<\/p>\n<p>(Sweitzer) Kring. Alice shared a beautiful 58-year marriage with her beloved husband,<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Jack N. Fisher, DDS, who passed away in 2012. Together they built a life rooted in<\/p>\n<p>faith, family, and devotion\u2014an enduring example of commitment and love. Their family<\/p>\n<p>takes great comfort in knowing mom and dad are smiling together again.<\/p>\n<p>A graduate of the former Shillington High School, Alice worked for many years as<\/p>\n<p>a bank teller, where her warm smile and gentle manner left lasting impressions on<\/p>\n<p>customers and colleagues alike. She also did the same in Jack\u2019s dentist office, working<\/p>\n<p>as a receptionist, bookkeeper and \u201cJack of all trades.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Alice was a faithful and devoted member of Allegheny UCC, serving as a church<\/p>\n<p>elder, Vice President, and council member. Her heart was especially at home during<\/p>\n<p>church dinners and festivals in the grove, where fellowship and community brought her<\/p>\n<p>great joy.<\/p>\n<p>She also gave her time and energy to the Governor Mifflin Music Association and<\/p>\n<p>the Brecknock Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, always willing to serve wherever she was<\/p>\n<p>needed. Alice found happiness in life\u2019s simple and meaningful moments. She loved<\/p>\n<p>knitting and sewing\u2014quiet crafts that reflected her patient and caring spirit. Most of all,<\/p>\n<p>she treasured time spent with her family. Her gentle presence, kind heart, and steady<\/p>\n<p>love were gifts to all who knew her.<\/p>\n<p>She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Suzanne, wife of Dr. Thomas Fries,<\/p>\n<p>Mohnton, and Natalie Fisher, also of Mohnton, along with her niece and nephews. In<\/p>\n<p>addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Ann M. Riegel.<\/p>\n<p>Alice\u2019s long life was a blessing to her family and community. She will be dearly missed,<\/p>\n<p>fondly remembered, and forever held in grateful hearts.<\/p>\n<p>A Funeral Service for Alice will be held at 11:00AM, Wednesday, February 18,<\/p>\n<p>2026, at Klee Funeral Home &amp; Cremation Services, Inc., 1 East Lancaster Avenue,<\/p>\n<p>Shillington, with a viewing from 9:30-11:00. Burial will follow the service at Pleasant<\/p>\n<p>View Cemetery, Sinking Spring. Alice\u2019s family would like to thank the very loving<\/p>\n<p>caregivers at Phoebe-Berks for always treating their mom like she was family. Your<\/p>\n<p>gentle care, warm smiles, and quiet acts of service brought her comfort and dignity and<\/p>\n<p>brought our family peace of mind.<\/p>\n<p>In lieu of flowers, kindly make a donation in Alice\u2019s honor to her church: Allegheny<\/p>\n<p>UCC, 1219 Kurtz Mill Road, Mohnton, PA 19540.
