The Animal Rescue League of Berks County, 58 Kennel Road, Cumru Township, has received a $4,000 grant from the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals to help it prepare for an upcoming adoption event.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe grant will help the Animal Rescue League of Berks County fund services such as veterinary care, vaccines, enrichment, training and socialization needed to prepare animals for adoption, which are crucial to ARL operations,\u201d said a statement released Wednesday by the ARL.<\/p>\n
