Two men were hospitalized, officials said, including one man who was listed in critical condition, after an early morning shooting in Philly’s Kingsessing section on Sunday. <\/p>\n
According to police, officers responded to the 1200 block of South 53rd Street on Sunday, at about 9:29 a.m., after two men were shot on the roadway. <\/p>\n
Both men, police said, were found after having been shot multiple times. <\/p>\n
They were taken to a nearby hospital where, officials said, one man was listed in stable condition and, as of about noon on Sunday, the other victim was still listed in critical condition. <\/p>\n
Police said that no motive was initially known and no arrests were immediately made, but an investigation into this double shooting was ongoing. <\/p>\n
