A woman was killed Monday afternoon after being struck by a pickup truck in the parking lot of Boscov\u2019s in Exeter Township, according to police.<\/p>\n
The crash occurred at approximately 2:15 p.m. Feb. 16 at the store located at 4500 Perkiomen Avenue. Exeter Township Police said officers were dispatched to the parking lot for a reported vehicle crash involving pedestrians.<\/p>\n
Upon arrival, officers determined that two adult female pedestrians were crossing the parking lot when they were struck by a pickup truck that was turning into a travel lane in front of the store.<\/p>\n
Both pedestrians were injured and transported for medical treatment. Police said one of the women later died from injuries sustained in the crash.<\/p>\n
The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and was cooperative with investigators.<\/p>\n
The Exeter Township Police Department\u2019s Traffic Safety Unit is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation remains ongoing.<\/p>\n
