{"id":115602,"date":"2026-02-16T23:21:08","date_gmt":"2026-02-16T23:21:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/115602\/"},"modified":"2026-02-16T23:21:08","modified_gmt":"2026-02-16T23:21:08","slug":"one-dead-after-pickup-truck-hits-pedestrians-outside-boscovs-store-berks-regional-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/115602\/","title":{"rendered":"One dead after pickup truck hits pedestrians outside Boscov&#8217;s store | Berks Regional News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>EXETER TWP, Pa. &#8211; Exeter Township Police are working to determine what caused a fatal pedestrian accident at an area shopping center.<\/p>\n<p>It happened just after 2 p.m. in the lot of the Boscov&#8217;s store located in the 4500 block of Perkiomen Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>Arriving officers located two adult female pedestrians who were struck by a pickup truck while trying to cross the parking lot.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators say both pedestrians were injured and transported for medical treatment. One died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.<\/p>\n<p>Police say the pickup truck was turning into a travel lane in front of the store when it struck the two women.
