{"id":115919,"date":"2026-02-17T09:55:08","date_gmt":"2026-02-17T09:55:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/115919\/"},"modified":"2026-02-17T09:55:08","modified_gmt":"2026-02-17T09:55:08","slug":"verona-police-ask-for-publics-help-finding-fugitive-accused-of-fleeing-traffic-stop-wpxi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/115919\/","title":{"rendered":"Verona police ask for public\u2019s help finding fugitive accused of fleeing traffic stop \u2013 WPXI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">VERONA, Pa. \u2014 The Verona Police Department is asking for the public\u2019s help in finding a fugitive.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Verona police say they\u2019re searching for Joseph Fisher of Pittsburgh following an incident at the GetGo parking lot Sunday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Fisher reportedly fled a traffic stop and gave officers a relative\u2019s identity to keep from being arrested.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Investigators discovered Fisher\u2019s true identity after he was released, police say.
