{"id":116037,"date":"2026-02-17T13:32:08","date_gmt":"2026-02-17T13:32:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/116037\/"},"modified":"2026-02-17T13:32:08","modified_gmt":"2026-02-17T13:32:08","slug":"2-stabbed-in-easton-suspect-arrested-in-wilson-borough-cops-say","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/116037\/","title":{"rendered":"2 stabbed in Easton; suspect arrested in Wilson Borough, cops say"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"LPN72ZVNMZGE3NSDYK3PNNRVJQ\">Two men were stabbed Monday evening and a suspect is in custody following a dispute among a group of people, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lehighvalleylive.com\/topic\/Easton\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.lehighvalleylive.com\/topic\/Easton\">Easton<\/a> police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"UPIZ2AJXIJHWDNPISKYBLG5CW4\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lehighvalleylive.com\/topic\/Wilson%20Borough\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.lehighvalleylive.com\/topic\/Wilson%20Borough\">Wilson Borough<\/a> police responded just after 9 p.m. to St. Luke\u2019s Hospital\u2019s Easton campus in Wilson Borough to a call for two victims with stab wounds, Easton Police Lt. Matthew Gerould said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"BOOWELKY2NCY5OGWTIKKORU4UY\">The victims, a 19-year-old and a 21-year-old, suffered serious but survivable injuries, Gerould said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"SODO62547FAALHVSOUN45JHIA4\">Investigators learned the stabbing happened in Easton around 8:45 p.m. Monday in the 1300 block of Ferry Street. It\u2019s unclear what led up to the altercation. Most of the people in the group knew each other, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"NBRWONHZ2FD63AQ5BMXDADDU2Y\">Deshaun Gayle, 20, is the stabbing suspect.
